What stays the same
Your receiver, your remote and the way you zap stay as they are. The channels are in bouquets, the TV guide works with the same button, and recording to a hard disk remains possible on receivers that support it.
What gets better
The signal no longer depends on the weather or on the aim of the dish. You need no card and no module, and with the same details you can also watch on a second TV, a phone or a tablet.
What to watch for
Everything depends on your internet connection. Count on about 10 Mbit/s for Full HD and 25 Mbit/s for 4K, for each screen watching at once. The Dreambox IPTV compatibility check measures beforehand whether your line is fast enough.
Taking the dish down, or not
There is no hurry. Many people leave the dish up for the first weeks and take it down once they notice they no longer use it. Dreambox IPTV itself does not need it.
